This is one of my favourites and could easily become one of yours. I think it speaks for it'self.
It has rings of a cross-over stitch which does require long needles but I have also made suggestions for a couple of simpler alternatives. e.g. eyelets to thread through ribbon or you could even use Knit-in lace
