It's difficult to find sweaters long enough to fit a miniature dachshund. This is Lena's "Seed Stitch" sweater, first published in 2012 and updated in 2021. The sweater is a simple knit, using ribbing and the Seed Stitch. The front and back sections are knitted separately and invisibly seamed together with the mattress stitch (or any stitch you prefer). It boasts a ribbed turtle neck and ribbed bottom edge. The ribbed sleeves are knit in the round with double pointed needles, but if you prefer, you can skip that and instead, single crochet an edging around the arm holes with a crochet hook size G or H. IF YOU PREFER TO KNIT THE TURTLENECK COLLAR IN THE ROUND, I INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS OPTION!

The pattern was what I wanted but had to email and ask for help because despite being a very experienced knitter of many years had problems with it, did have a very quick reply with photos to help.
Would recommend and use again
Fits my mini Dachshund beautifully. Ideal for chilly mornings when a coat is too heavy. Used the Cascade Pacific Multi yarn, I will use the pattern again to increase her wardrobe.
