As a Swiss woman, married to a farmer, roots are very important to me. For a long time I was looking for a Swiss made wool that would be nice to work with. Something both authentic and suitable for the kind of garment I like to wear. Lana Rara made this dream come true. Their “rare swiss wool” is exactly was I was looking for, and it was such an excitement to design this shawl with their precious yarn.
Ledda is a classic asymetrical triangle, worked from the top down. A textured pattern runs all over the piece. The border is made with 2 colors, because a perfect cosy shawl needs to include some stripes, don’t you think ? :)
