Product Description
In the fall of 2019, I was heading to the New York Sheep and Wool festival, otherwise known as Rhinebeck. The concept of the Rhinebeck sweater has been established for years and I was thinking it would be the perfect time to wear a design that I had been thinking about for a long time.
In August, my husband and I vacationed up north here in Minnesota, so I packed a large tote bag full of sport weight wool in a variety of colors and some charts I had worked up for ideas. I knit on this sweater over the next week, (while my husband fished) and sorted different colors and charts as I worked. Eventually I decided it should be tunic length, as I wanted to include more words and abbreviations.
I received many requests to write this as a sweater pattern, but the problem lies in being able to grade the word charts to fit many sizes. So I settled on 3 words and a yoked sweater, although all the charts are included from my original sweater.
