I have used this yarn for several years making my ponchos. The colors work out beautiful for this pattern. The colors! Unfortunately, you did not have the color I ordered in stock. I will try to order again in a while. I did receive the refund promptly - thank you.
It was hard to assess how this would look knitted up from looking at a ball of wool on a website. Now it's here it's looking great. Knits nicely and the colours are as vibrant and colourful as I hoped. It is a double knit although it does appear slightly thinner than the usual DK. No problems thought as itscwurjedcrealky well and feels good to the touch.
This wool was very easy to crochet with. I’m making a blanket and was given a couple of balls which I started with. It looked so good that I have now purchased another 5 and my blanket is looking great. I’ve found that it looks great mixing the different colours within the same riot brand. I will be buying more!
The colours are lovely. I made a beautiful granny square blanket without having to cut and change yarns. Almost finished second one and third one to be darted- all presents gratefully received.

I've used King Cole Riot DK yarn for many years. Some colours I like more than others, and the blues and purples are my favourites. Be aware, the yarn isn't a consistent thickness, there are stretches of very thin yarn, and some that are quite a lot thicker. This is normal for this particular yarn. I often use a much bigger hook than recommended to produce a light, drapey fabric ideal for shawls and wraps. a 4.5mm hook mkaes a fabric suitable for a sweater or cardigan.
