I've used King Cole Riot DK yarn for many years. Some colours I like more than others, and the blues and purples are my favourites. Be aware, the yarn isn't a consistent thickness, there are stretches of very thin yarn, and some that are quite a lot thicker. This is normal for this particular yarn. I often use a much bigger hook than recommended to produce a light, drapey fabric ideal for shawls and wraps. a 4.5mm hook mkaes a fabric suitable for a sweater or cardigan. Lovely yarn which I will buy as long as they keep producing it :)

I just rated it and already gave my review
This yarn is okay. It would be better if it was 100% wool. I personally don’t like acrylics and other synthetics. This yarn tends to fuzz and snarl due to the acrylic. It is easy to crochet with, but I bet it splits easily for those who are knitting with it.What I like about is the colors ….both the selection of colors grouped together and the gradients. This what caught my attention and why I purchased it.
I love the colours and the softness, but it's difficult to knit with as it splits easily so complex stitch patterns aren't as tidy as they should be, this is made worse by the frequent inconsistencies in the weight, which sometimes has a very thin length followed by a large clump. Also I have had 2 balls now where the wool had snapped during winding and been tied with a knot. While I acknowledge this is fairly common it spoils the lovely graduation of the colour changes.
Excellent quality great colors
