Disappointed with recent yarn quality
I have worked with this yarn in the past and was quite satisfied. This last order was so different. There were multiple knots in each 100g ball and at least ten different changes in width of the yarn, often with wild frayed bits. It was very difficult to get a perfect result. I am quite surprised as King Cole yarns are normally so good. I am using it for a ladies waistcoat, and the pattern was mostly just treble crochets, which easily shows up imperfections.
