Good value - can recommend. Have started knitting with King Cole Forest Aran. Very pleased with this yarn. It looks and feels like wool - I can't tell that it isn't wool. I think it is going to be a warm jumper. Easy to knit with while watching a film - no missed stitches. I thought that flecks would be obvious, but not that many flecks so looking quite plain, but only a few inches done so far.
This is so soft and light and easy to work with. I knitted a scarf for my father in law and I’ve not seen him take it off yet! And the best thing is it’s recycled material !!
Lovely colour but the wool is not what I would say is Aran wool...it's not as thick as Aran wool should be, maybe because it's recycled? I can't use it for the project I wanted it for, it's more like a double knit wool. But will certainly use it for a garment that requires double knit wool.
Aran thickness, but lightweight, comfortable and warm to wear. Also has a lovely range of colours. I bought this because it has wool in it and I don’t usually buy wool, but I am very pleased with this product as it is warmer than I usually wear.
I am enjoying knitting with this yarn. It has an interesting “tweedy” effect which is very suitable for the sweater I’m knitting for my husband. It has rather a rough texture, so I would not like to wear it next to my skin!

I'm making a hat with this yarn and it's going well. I like the flecks of color that appear from time to time. I like that the yarn is recycled. It seemed a bit coarse at first but the hat has a soft feel and should be warm.
