Inspired by the distinctive patterns of William Morris, this fitted sweater, knitted in reverse stockinette and lace, is as wearable as it is romantic.
**Construction: **Kelmscott is worked in reverse stockinette with unusual lace front panels, lace collar, and lace details on the cuffs and back. The sleeves are set in. Short rows shape the shoulders. The front edge, buttonholes and buttons are crocheted in slip stitch. The pattern includes instructions for an easy, wrapless short row technique.
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows = 4" in St st.
