Product Details

My innocent pleasure happened during the hot days of summer out of a worsted wool yarn. Maybe you can imagine that there was not much use for it at that time. It had to be done though, as it was so much fun to knit. Thus the name. No harm done. There are two versions: One that uses only a textured and lace pattern (shown in blue and worsted weight yarn), the second one has some stockinette parts in between (shown in green and fingering weight yarn). It can be worked to any size that you like, it can be worked in any yarn that you like, and gauge is not important at all. The one listed in the description is the one I got in my worsted yarn. The pattern is both written and charted. Difficulty level: advanced beginner (knit and purl, easy lace stitches) Yarn: Austermann Merino 105 (100% merino wool; 105m/50g; 115yds/1.76oz); 4 balls. Sample in blue used 367m/412yds. The sample in green used 495m (541yds) of fingering weight sock yarn.
