The powder-blue tang, copperband butterflyfish and red lionfish are eye-catching inhabitants of the Indian Ocean reefs. And though these pretty fish may look harmless, they are fierce creatures that can definitely defend themselves against any enemy trying to mess with them! Luckily, your knitted fish are going to be a lot more cuddly and huggable!
This pattern includes the powder-blue tang, copperband butterflyfish, red lionfish and sheet coral, knitted on 2.25 mm dpn (UK 13, US 1. Only small amounts of yarns are needed, so a reef fish is a great project to use up any scraps you have lying around! These fish make an easy to medium project with some color work (stripes and intarsia), i-cord knitting and transferring and holding stitches (explained in schematics).
