The ‘wood grain’ is painted on to a plastic hoop and actually transfers to the fabric and ruins your embroidery . I had to use a varnish remover to clean off the wood stain. It is an extremely tight fit, which is good for holding fabric tightly but the inner frame is so flimsy it breaks easily when trying to fit the outer frame due to the tight fit.

Good range of products.
The hoop is very dark brown plastic that sets off my embroidery beautifully. The hoop was extremely difficult to put together because the outer hoop has to be forced over the inner. I found it difficult to centre the design over the inner and retain tautness then force over the outer. The traditional way of having a screw to tighten is much easier to use.
Would definitely recommend
Not the tightest grip but easy to put into my fabric and it will do the job perfectly for the piece I am working on. The piece will also look great hung up and displayed in the hoop.

Very eye-catching for finished embroidery. Holds fabric in very well. Can be tight to work with but I don't mind that
