Coaster – 50 to 75 metres No 30 crochet cotton; 0.75 mm crochet hook
Doily – 60 to 90 metres No 10 or No 12 crochet cotton, 1.50 mm crochet hook

Coaster- Rounds 1-3 = ¾-inch/2 cm approx
Doily -Rounds 1-3 = 1-inch/2.5 cm approx
