Confused
Lovely pattern but not sure if it’s my inexperience of knitting in the round but I couldn’t understand how to cast on joining the ear flaps and keep them both facing the same way, I just fudged it and did my own thing in the end.

YARN: Sport to DK weight yarn - 100 (120, 130, 150) yds/91 (110, 119, 137) m
GAUGE: 22 sts per 4 inches in Gull and Garter stitch on US #4/3.5 mm needles or size required to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS: US #4/3.5 mm circular needles (12”/30 cm or 16”/40 cm and dpns) or size needed to obtain gauge; US #3/3.25 mm circular needles (24”/60 cm); Stitch marker.
