Graph Paper blanket knitting pattern is easy to knit with super bulky yarn. The repeating square pattern mimics the grid of graph paper & gives a timeless, classic design.
FIVE BLANKET SIZES:
Baby: 30” wide x 35.25” long
Small/Crib/Lap Blanket: 37.5” wide x 39.5” long
Medium: 41.5” wide by 43.75” long
Large: 45” wide x 48” long
XL: 48.75” wide x 56.5” long
Any blanket size may be made longer by adding pattern repeats. Each pattern repeat adds 4.25” to length of the blanket.
SUPER BULKY YARN:
Baby: 440 - 460 yards
Small: 615 - 640 yards
Medium: 745 - 775 yards
Large: 880 - 920 yards
XL: 1150 - 1200 yards
This pattern will work well with many super bulky weight yarns.
US size 15 needles: approximately 8.5 stitches & 11 rows = 4”
Exact gauge is not essential.
Knit flat, in one piece, back and forth on US size 15 circular knitting needles.
Written pattern with row by row instructions. This pattern uses standard U.S. knitting terms.
