Gracie's Blanket

What a beautiful and soft blanket! This would make a beautiful shower gift. This crochet pattern will help you accomplish what a lot of people are afraid to try, and that is cables. You are going to find this an easy blanket to make. A few of the ladies that tested the pattern, happily told me that they had never made cables before and they found making them was easy. I know you can make this too! This beautiful blanket was made for the arrival of my first grand daughter. I found that these small cables are easy to crochet and the yarn highlights them so well. Choosing to use Lion Brand's Vel-Luxe yarn in silver was a fabulous choice. The yarn is so luxurious and soft. It comes in a cake and is a "4" yarn. Not a normal "4", but a hefty 4 yarn.
