My pattern, Glorious Tea Cozy Of Doom, has been on display at Hands On Knitting Center (from which I have retired from ownership) for a long time. I often got the suggestion from customers that I should make a hat pattern using the same skull design.
My friend asked me to knit the hat for her son and I did. Here is the pattern. It is shown on my husband. For reference, he is 6' 2" tall and weighs around 220. The hat should fit any head of 20" - 24" circumference comfortably.
I worked this is grey and black; but, you can choose any two contrasting colors (make sure they have a good contrast for best results).
The pattern is written and the colorwork skull design is an easy to read chart with full directions for knitting from it.
