This simple, elongated triangle shawl PDF knitting pattern is deep enough to cover your back, while still draping securely around your shoulders and neck. Pair a variegated yarn with two coordinating semisolid yarns for subtle stripes or with two contrasting yarns for wild stripes.
This pattern uses the following skills: cast on and bind off of your choice, increase stitches, knit, purl, stockinette and garter, blocking
Yarn: Fingering weight or sock yarn in the following amounts:
Color A (semisolid): 100 grams/400 yards
Color B (semisolid): 30 grams/120 yards
Color C (variegated): 75 grams/300 yards
Gauge: 20 stitches x 32 rows, stockinette stitch lightly blocked. Gauge is not overly important for this shawl, except for yardage considerations.
