This is a written pattern in US Crochet Terms with full charts and step-by-step photos showing the making process. You will need approximately 30gr of DK cotton yarn such as Debbie Bliss Eco Baby (shown in shade Peach) and about 30cm of cord to make the draw string.
Finished pouch made with DK cotton yarn and 3.75mm hook will measure 14cm by 7cm (this will fit an iPhone5s and similar size phones). Using a 4.00mm hook will give a pouch 15cm by 8cm, this will fit a larger smart phones or a pair of glasses.

The instructions are excellent: I like the combination of written directions and photographs. I think this would be a bit tricky for a beginner but I am not an expert crocheter and was able to follow the pattern. I am really pleased with the result and I get lots of compliments on my phone case.
