What is Being Made

The Floral Table Runner is a colorful crochet table runner measuring 87 x 17cm (34¼ x 6¾in). Inspired by the flower gardens in London's Regent's Park, this beginner-friendly project features 40 individual flower motifs that are joined together using the join-as-you-go technique. The finished piece creates a vibrant, garden-inspired accent for any table setting.

Crochet Techniques Used

This pattern employs the join-as-you-go method, which allows crafters to connect flower motifs directly during construction rather than sewing them together afterward. This technique is particularly suitable for beginners as it streamlines the finishing process. The design also incorporates color changes on every row, creating dynamic visual interest throughout each motif. The pattern includes optional embellishments such as mini tassels and gold jump rings, adding decorative detail to the completed runner.
