A fun colorwork hat with abstract flowers motif
Construction: Hat is knitted in round from bottom up. Stranded colorwork for 36 rounds after ribbing.
Skills required: work in round. work with stranded colorwork. make increases (m1) and decreases (k2tog, ssk).
Gauge: 30 sts x 34 rows = 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm in stranded colorwork. correct gauge is important for a colorwork hat to fit.
The sample was knit in Elann Tremelo and Peruvian Baby Cashmere (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
