Product Details
Evie has reported from San Luis Obispo, where it is currently uncharacteristically cold - people are stopping her on the streets and in libraries to comment on this scarf!
Main photo is unblocked knitting in progress - smaller photo is (BAD) selfie after blocking magic.
It's free, because it's simply a lace stitch pattern from a vintage Mon Tricot stitch dictionary, along with a border. This is not a "knit night" pattern unless you're a lace wizard with photographic memory - the lace stitch is 15 rows - go slow and use a lifeline!
I knit this with one skein of the yarn I used and once blocked it came out long enough for a scarf to be worn in south/central coastal California. I also used larger needles or faster knitting and a fabric with a sweet, soft drape.
Written directions only.
