Product Details

Continuing my lace series, short sleeves have been added to this Chevron lace bodice to create a sweet tee. In this slightly revised version, the bottom-up bodice is worked in the round before splitting at the armholes, then trimmed, finally, at its edges with a few garter rows. I've added some length too, enjoying how the even column of the bodice drapes as it rests on the upper hip-line, though this length may be easily adjusted by the knitter. Once the 9 stitch/8 row repeat of the lace is mastered – easily – this is a quick knit. Less complex than it looks, it’s a pleasure to knit, and light and airy to wear.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Long-tail CO, decreases (SKP, k2tog, p2tog, p2tog tbl), increases (yo), lace shaping – shaping notes included, stitch pick up around neckline, short row shaping and 3-needle BO (at the shoulders).
