It is edged by a romantic crochet lace pattern which is optional, you may add fringe instead if you are not familiar with crochet. I worked this shawl during my summer vacation last year so I carried this beautiful soft Merinos garment in my beach basket and I used to knit having this superbe clean sea view in front of me!
