Gauge: For size M: 31 sts and 27 rnds = 4"/10 cm in 2x2 Rib pattern with large needle (unstretched). For size L: 29 sts and 25 rnds = 4"/10 cm in 2x2 Rib pattern with large needle (unstretched).
