THERE IS NO NEED TO KNIT A GAUGE SWATCH AS THIS DRESS IS KNITTED SIDEWAYS and can EASILY BE KNITTED TO FIT A DOLL, RIGHT UP TO AN ADULT SIZE. ONCE YOU HAVE DECIDED ON THE DEPTH OF THE BODICE YOU SIMPLY KNIT UNTIL THE PIECE FITS SNUGGLY AROUND SUBJECT'S CHEST.

The only measurement you need to decide before you begin is the depth of the bodice. It is knitted flat with only one seam to join. The tulle skirt does not require any sewing.
