For DK or worsted yarn at 20 stitches and 28 rounds to 10 cm/4 inches over stockinette using main working needle.
5 mm/US 8 circular needle with a long cable or correct needle size to achieve gauge, plus a needle ½ mm/ 1 US size smaller for bottom hem.
