My grandmother taught me how to crochet, and while I was making this dress I thought of her. Her middle name was Delia, which I always loved, and it seemed like the perfect name for this frilly dress. This was a design that went from paper to finished item easily, and ended up exactly how I envisioned it in my head. From its flutter sleeves to its lacy edged skirt, it’s a little princess’s dream. The crochet edgings are not terribly difficult, and they add just the right finishing touch to this dress.
