Product Details
A quick and simple to knit baby aviator hat with a contrasting aviator flap. It is button fastening. You can either use standard tension chunky weight yarn or two strands of double knit yarn held and worked together, as one. You can get some very nice effects using two different, but complementary shades of dk yarn. There are plenty of photos throughout to help you.
Yarn requirements: 50 grams chunky weight yarn or 100 grams double knit yarn divided into 2 balls for main hat 10 grams chunky weight yarn or 20 grams double knit yarn divided into 2 balls for aviator flap
Tension: 14 sts and 19 rows to a 10 cm square knit in stocking st using 6.5mm needles
