Criss-Cross Honey Slippers Pattern A comfy and cozy way to keep your feet warm and toasty in the winter. This a great pattern for beginners who would like to build upon their knit and purl stitches to create fun patterns. A super bulky yarn weight is use for the pattern and gage is not critical. However a chart has been included with approximate foot sizes in inches for width and length based on US foot sizes. The pattern is made in a simple rectangle with instructions on folding, seaming, and shaping included.
Skills required are knit, purl, and slipping stitches. The pattern uses straight knitting needles US size 10.5 and the yarn used in the pattern photo is Loops and Thread Cozy Wool -Carnival super bulky 6. One skein or 88 yards was just enough for the slippers US size 7 women, if you would like to add a cuff to make it a boot or a larger size shoe two skeins will be more than enough.
