**Crandell is an easy-to-knit small shawl worked sideways (end to end) using two colors. Knit Crandell with low contrast yarns such a speckled yarn and related solid for a faded look. Using two higher contrast yarns will give you a graphic pop. Remarkably, it works either way. **
