The yarn is a dark gray color and made with Baby Llama which is very soft (who knew). The 30% silk give's it a slightly shinny quality. Can't wait to begin knitting with it.

I had bought this yarn on sale a while ago to crochet a shawl and l have now bought more. And l will again! It is absolutely the best 4 ply I've crocheted with. It is so soft with a gorgeous sheen from the silk content. I wish l could find more llama yarns as l find softer than alpaca and even prefer it to cashmere. It is good value too as you get good yardage in the skein. Cascade never disappoints with their yarns quality!
