Product Details
Capriccio Hat and Fingerless Mitts are extensions of the design elements used in the Capriccio Shawl, found also on Love Crafts and Ravelry. Using stockinette stitch background, the garter stitch short row “color notes” are accentuated giving both texture and color highlights.
Enough yarn in two colors is needed for each project in a ratio of APPROXIMATELY 60-65% main color, and 40-35% contrasting color. Each pair of mitts in the respective sizes uses approx. the same total amount of yarn as the hat which is listed in materials. NOTE, you need two skeins, one each of different colors even though the total used would only be about one skein worth.
