Product Details
For retro surfing and seaside fans … a squishy knitted Camper Van! For intermediate and advanced knitters, the body of this camper van is knitted in one piece using short row shaping and intarsia colour-work in garter stitch. The wheels and bumpers are knitted separately and sewn on after making up, and the window struts are embroidered in chain stitch. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the van is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming plus a little embroidery decoration to finish.
