Product Details
Calypso is the name of a fluvial island located on the Dordogne river (Lot department) at the Périgord border. It is also the name of the nymph who retained Ulysses for seven years, when he tries to return to Itaque. However I celebrate the little Island of Dordogne River with this cowl.
Calypso is a small, light cowl to wear at spring, on fresh days. It is knitted bottom up in the round, adorned with a band of Scandinavian-inspired roses and broadens slightly at the bottom. A few short rows make this cowl gently dive forward to cover the chest without to much cloth on the neck. Finally a drawstring allows you to snug it up.
