In this pattern you will find instructions on how to make: 1. the large flags with bobbles as depicted in the photos 2. the mini flags with bobbles as depicted in the photos 3. any other flag sizes 4. the flower decoration as depicted in the 2nd photo 5. how to attach the flags to the string
The largest flag measures 16 cm / 6.4 inch by 15 cm / 6 inch. A bobble is approx. 1 cm / 0.4 inch. Mini flag size is 9 cm / 3.6 inch by 8.5 cm / 3.4 inch. A bobble is just under 1 cm / 0.4 inch.
Flower decoration size: 6 cm / 2.4 inch.
I have used soft cotton (sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) to make this bunting.
This bunting pattern is suitable for BEGINNERS since it has clear written instructions, explanations of the slightly more intricate stitches and many many photos. If you are familiar with the basics of crochet then it will not be a problem at all to make this bunting.
In this pattern I use American terms but a list with the equivalent British terms has been included too.
