Product Details
This is an original pattern for a colourful crocheted double thickness potholder with a colorful bunch of balloons with a Christmas message on the front. The reverse is worked in Moss Stitch in cream, and both thicknesses are joined by a double row of crochet in red. You could of course embroider any message on the balloons - perfect for happy birthday, anniversary, etc.
I have recommended 100% cotton yarn, making it safe to stand warm dishes on, and to protect your hands from burns. Measures 8” x 8.5" (20cm x 20.5cm)) plus the hanging loop at the top.
The potholder takes approximately 115 yards of yarn in total and the stitches used are sl st., single crochet. half double crochet and moss stitch. Full instructions for these stitches are included in the pattern.
