This cute embellishment for a blanket or garment is a great use for scrap yarn and works up quick! The octopus is worked all in one piece so there is no seaming. Less work for you!
If this octopus looks familiar to you then you must have great taste in kid's shows. ;) I like to watch the cartoon Star vs. the Forces of Evil with my 7 year old daughter. It's one of those rare shows that is entertaining for both kids and adults.
This super cute octopus applique is a bit of teaser because I am currently in the process of designing a replica of the main character's dress. I still have a ways to go to get all the sizes written out and to get the pattern tasted so keep an eye out!
