This pattern is can be crocheted in two sizes (Large: 7 cm (2 3/4”) and Small: 5 cm (2”)) by changing the hook and thread size. This pattern shows step by step guide (w/pictures) that includes painting and assembly. I recommend at least six flowers, at least one of each bud, two large leaves, and one small leaf for a finished plant.
Hook - Large: 1.5mm (Small: 1.00mm)
Crochet Thread (Such as Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Thread or DMC) Size 10 (Large) / 20 (Small) per flower
- apx. 110yrd/100m of black
- apx. 22yrd/ 20m of white - must be cotton
- apx. 200yrd/180m of green
- apx. 1yrd/ 1m yellow (or dye the white; ie turmeric)
Craft/ Hot Glue
Wire:
- 0.5mm / 26 gage for the Flower
- 1.6mm/ 14 gage for the Stem Gloss Black acrylic paint Fabric paint in magenta
Round beads: 8mm (Large)/ 6mm (Small) to match your fabric paint
