Designed to replicate the classic farmer’s oilskin vest—complete with longer, shaped back to keep your back extra toasty when riding around on the quad bike or high country horses. The thick ribbed collar adds to the warmth and pockets for treasure stashing are always important to little people!
This vest is knit top-down all in one piece, starting with the collar, incorporating the pockets as you go and featuring short row shaping in the back.
The pattern includes a detailed schematic and clear instructions and descriptions throughout.
The sample was knit in Red Riding Hood Yarns Belle 8ply Superwash. A substitute yarn is shown below.
