Biblios is a thing that combines all the advantages of cowls and scarves!
It can be worn with the bib part in front, which keeps the chest warm and easily covers the parts a jacket usually does not, thus keeping all the chill out and the cosiness in, or with the bib in the back, which is handy for long hours in libraries or in front of computers when otherwise one would easily get a chilly back. It is amazingly versatile and comfortable to wear.
The pattern contains three levels of instruction: a general description of the construction, a more detailed description of where and how the shaping occurs, applicable to all yarn types and knitting as well as crochet, and a detailed pattern for making a simple garter stitch Biblios out of exactly one skein of Malabrigo Rasta or any similarly chunky yarn.
Because I want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy this lovely piece of design and be warm in the winter wearing their Biblios, I am making this pattern available for FREE!
