Perhaps because of its high linen content, Berroco Chai is quite stiff and not quite what l expected. Therefore, l’m going to double my yarns by knitting alongside a more pliable yarn—that shall hopefully add drape as well as softness.
Love this yarn. The linen/silk blend is perfect for a warmer climate. It knits up nicely, with good stitch definition and feels good to my hands. Like most linen, it can split if you use very sharp needles, as I do, and you knit quickly. That one little think will not stop me from using this yarn again or stop me from recommending it to my friends.
