Worked at a larger gauge and with dolman sleeve shaping, Belmar makes a great fall jacket or winter cardigan. Belmar begins at the bottom of the back, stitches are bound off for the back neck and it is worked over the shoulders down the bottom of the fronts. Stitches are increased and decreased, cast on and bound off to shape the dolman style sleeves. The side and sleeve seams are then sew up and stitches for the cuffs and collar are picked up.
Photographed with about 6" of positive ease. I recommend 3" to 6" of positive ease.
