A couple of years back when my step-daughter was expecting a baby I designed a baby sleep sack for her. She absolutely loved it. Now she is expecting again and has specifically asked me to make her another blanket.
This time I have designed the blanket to go sideways with the opening in the middle. And the cables go around the baby in a kind of hug. As it is designed to be oversized and not fitted to the baby, I wouldn’t recommend it for unsupervised sleeping.
It was knitted in Stylecraft Special Chunky (100% Acrylic) in colourway Magenta 1084 and comes in sizes Newborn, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.
