Product Details
This gingham scrunchie can be made in the colours that match a child’s summer school dress; it is knit in the round and sewn together with mattress stitch around the circumference. I have provided both written instructions and a chart. You only need small amounts of fingering weight yarn, mini skeins or even scraps will do the job; I chose mercerized cotton. I was able to purchase 3 X 10g skeins of Scheepjes Catona in the colours Snow White, Watermelon, and Poppy Rose. An alternative yarn is Schachenmayer Catania. You will be using 2 colours per round and repeating the same 2 rounds to produce a gingham pattern that looks more complicated than it really is.
