THESE LITTLE SHARKS ARE AROUND 6 - 7.5 cm LONG AND USE ONLY AROUND 5g OF DK YARN, MAKING THEM VERY QUICK AND CHEAP TO KNIT. KNIT IN ANY COLOUR FOR A GREAT STASH BUSTER TO MAKE YOUR OWN SHARK FAMILY.
NO BUTTONS OR BEADS ARE USED, MAKING THEM CHILD FRIENDLY.
LEAVE A GAP IN THE BOTTOM TO CREATE A FINGER PUPPET OR STUFF AND CLOSE FOR A SOFT TOY. PERFECT FOR LITTLE HANDS AND FINGERS

My granddaughter loves Baby Shark. So a little project to indulge her. It's a great pattern if you enjoy faffing, but not for a novice knitter, as there are lots of increasing and decreasing shapings and colour changes. I've adapted the colour changes slightly by omitting the mouths and stitching on after finishing rather than knitting them in. For the finger puppets I've knitted a little tube insert which just neatens the internal body. There are lots of detailed finishing instructions in the pattern. Best of all, they take on their own little personalities when finished.
