This baby blanket features a beautiful combination of two stitches: the "Diamond Stitch" with simple cables along the sides of the blanket and the textured "Large Basket Weave Stitch" in the central part. It will make a wonderful gift for a baby girl or a baby boy.

Yarn used: #4 (10 ply) medium worsted/aran
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch.
I used ~620 yards ( 2 skeins) of Premier Yarns Basix Worsted yarn. It's very soft and comfy, great for baby items.
