Product Details
Auseklis is a top down, circular stranded yoked sweater with traditional Latvian designs along the yoke, and optional colourwork on the cuffs.
It is designed to be a cozy, comfortable pullover, perfect for lazy Sunday's at the local cafe, or beautiful and warm at the office during the week.
It has size options from 32" (80cm) to 60" (150cm) bust, with 1-5" (2.5 - 12.5cm) of positive ease.
Gauge is 26 sts and 40 rows = 4" (10cm) in stockinette in MC.
I used BC Garn Baby Alpaca (grey and white) for the first time, and Cleckheaton Country Tweed (orange and white) for the second sweater.
10% of the proceeds of Auseklis will be donated once a quarter to Giving for Latvia in recognition of my heritage that inspired this sweater; a UK-run charity that works to support disabled people, women, and children in crisis situations in Latvia.
