Arthur’s baby blanket is a beautiful blanket designed for both boys and girls, both sides of the blanket have a textured pattern that give the blanket a unique look, with one side forming a lovely star stitch pattern.
Size: Finished blanket measures 70x 88cm- the perfect size for pushchairs, strollers and car seats
Equipment and Materials: 5mm circular knitting needle- 60cm in length A darning needle to sew in ends
Yarn suggestions: One ball of Hayfield Bonus Aran with Wool in the shade Light Stone (400g ball/ 840m/919yds) Or alternatively any other Aran/ heavy worsted weight yarn will work.
Gauge/ tension: 16 stitches and 33 rows in garter stitch to create a 10cm square. Exact gauge is not essential but blanket may come out smaller or larger dependant upon your own knitting tension.
