The instructions were clear, though I needed to use a smaller hook to achieve gauge. The instructions for sewing the seam could have been more detailed, more pics would have helped, but I was able to figure it out with the Youtube tutorial. I used Lion Brand Hometown super chunky yarn in San Diego Navy. One skein of 81 yards was enough to just enough to make Adult Man size.
